“Boris Johnson opened the 26th UN Climate Conference in Glasgow on Monday. The event once again represents ‘the last best hope’ for world leaders to save the planet from climate change. President Biden arrived in an 85-car motorcade, called the climate an existential threat and apologized for the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Climate accord. Before dozing off he urged world leaders to cut back on fossil fuels and asked OPEC to sell us more oil. China and Russia didn’t bother to attend.” -CB
